About Manicured Meltdown

Hi! I'm Sarah, the creator behind Manicured Meltdown.

I started making nails because I've always loved beautiful, detailed designs—but it quickly became more than just a hobby. Creating nails became a way for me to quiet my mind, slow down, and ease the anxious thoughts that were constantly running in the background. Sitting down with colours, brushes, and little details gave me a kind of calm I didn't know I needed.

I've now been making press‑on nails for over two years. At first, I made them just for myself… and then I made far too many for one person to ever wear. So I started creating sets for friends and family, and seeing how much joy they got from them made me realise I wanted to share them with more people.

Today, I work full‑time in corporate Australia, and I create nails whenever I can—early mornings, late nights, weekends, whenever inspiration strikes. Designing intricate sets is my absolute passion, and most of my free time is spent mixing colours, experimenting with new ideas, and turning tiny canvases into wearable art.
